Miss Irie

Irie Monte started teaching Music Together® classes in the Fall of 2017. With a background in music education, she immediately fell in love with the program. Moved  by the magic she witnessed during classes, Miss Irie decided to dig deeper. In June 2019, Miss Irie took over as Center Director and is proud to continue to offer this amazing program to the community. Irie is a professional violinist and private violin teacher. She has shaped her violin students into the Southernmost Youth Orchestra, plays with the Southernmost Chamber Music Society and enjoys singing with the Keys Choral Arts.

Miss Sharon

Sharon brings more than six years of musical experience as she joins us as a teacher in 2025. Throughout her teaching journey, Sharon has taught voice and piano for two years at Irmo Academy in South Carolina and spent two additional years teaching voice in South Africa. Sharon also spent two years as an AmeriCorps Early Learning Corps tutor at Inez Child Development Center, where she gained valuable experience in early childhood education. In November 2024, she earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, further strengthening her commitment to helping young learners grow through music and learning. Currently she serves as the Music Director at a local church, a role that has deepened her musical expertise and leadership skills.  Her passion for music and education shines through in every lesson, bringing joy, creativity, and a unique perspective to the Music Together community. Outside of teaching, Sharon enjoys spending time with her family and sharing her love of music with children and families alike.
